The Elmhurst Police Department is comprised of 68 agency members, with 6 peer support members, serving law enforcement officers. Their Peer Support program originated in 2022. Members are trained through 40 hour peer support curriculums.
Aside from peer support, other wellness programs that the department offers includes EAP, an in-house clinician or social worker, wellness spaces, and other on-duty wellness allowances.
